It's official: I am obsessed with Nick and Charlie. I think either this volume or the first one was my favorite, still not sure. In this one, they went to Paris for a week and I loved the LGBTQ representation as there was a girl-girl couple, the teachers were gay, and a transgender girl. There were some serious issues brought up such as an absent parent, getting bullied for coming out, eating disorders, and suicide. I LOVED IT CANNOT WAIT TO READ THE NEXT VOLUME!

This was the most intense one so far I think for me, and I’m scared for the fourth book (getting it tomorrow) because I think that one has even more eating disorder and selfharm shit in it and that still triggers the hell out of me

Very cute, quick read. Covers some serious topics but in a lighthearted way, which I do appreciate. Hopefully kids feel less alone when they read this, I know I would have as a teen.
Graphic: Bullying, Outing, Lesbophobia, Eating disorder, Homophobia, and Biphobia
Moderate: Alcohol
Minor: Sexual content, Self harm, and Vomit

The third book of the series centers on the school trip to Paris, where the two protagonists move forward in their relationship and deepen their understanding of each other.
Cute, though I still feel I am a bit older than the target audience.
