Beautiful and rich with delightful, surprising, and informative text! I've been working my way through this book with my 2nd grade daughter as part of her homeschool study of water on earth. Even though it's a picture book, it would make an excellent reference text.

Fantastic text teaching and educating young readers about the water on Earth. The author did a great job dividing the book into sections that make it clear what the reader is going to learn about. The illustrations add important details to support the text and the author includes captions that give further information. This book could be read as a whole, or just small sections used for close reading. The author included great information at the end of the book - giving readers suggestions on what they can do to save water and what they can do to become more aware of the water on Earth. There is also an extensive index included.

This book is fabulous. The illustrations are great and my students love me reading out loud to them from this book. Highly recommended.
