What a strange little book! The blurb is almost a total misdirection. The story doesn’t seem to really have any direction. Gowie is rather unlikable as he is a total shit through most of the book. Where has all the entertainment and humour gone from the Tyke Tiler book this is following! Unsure if I’d like to carry on with this series or not... but as they are very short, I might try the next one before abandonment of the series.
