Too slow. 3 hours in and I just wasn’t interested. Too many other books out there

I really liked Jo a lot. She's a great protagonist. And I liked that this book was set during the Gilded Age. I can't remember the last time a YA book was set during this time period. It brought up lots of interesting issues. I do have lingering questions about the Miss Sweetie column. The females in the book seemed to eat it up, and I really wonder if that would have been the reaction. I also have issues with the ending, because it seemed that everything got wrapped up a bit too easily. Still, an enjoyable read.
