Honestly such a great chapter book. Wish this was around when I was younger so I could read it. I love the twist of not just being another rainbow and sunflower fairy book

An excellent reading experience. While I had read a preview copy of this book digitally, I was thrilled to read it again in it proper print form. Doing so really changes the game.

I've been having a hard time physically reading, using audiobooks in place of actual texts to get my literary fix. And while that totally and entirely counts, there is something a little bit lost when we can't sit down with a book like when we were kids.

I did that with this book, and found my love of reading restored. Yes, its imperfect in places, and I have to say honestly that I found the illustrations a bit muddy in places, the book as a whole sends out such a love for Books in general, that the world it creates positively implores you to love them too. It seems at once to be drawn from books and at the same time the place where their magic originates; Aware of the tropes while suggesting another side to them.Thats a delicate balance to strike, and Etter pulls it off. And he does so in a way that is pleasant and charming. Its characters are unique and delightful preposterous, and by the end I was entirely satisfied with the stakes. Perfect for its target market.

But it got me READING again. Excited to sit down at the end of the day with a flesh-and-blood Book in my hand, pripped up in bed with only a lamp for reading light. The thrill of the act itself, just like when I was a kid. So that, right there, is the biggest, best win of all.

Fun read. I would definitely read to future children. Something a little different it felt like a mix of old fairy tales feeling with new. The fairies in this book represent the gray area and I enjoyed it.
