Just not for me! This is the first time I have read/listened to a James Patterson novel. I don't understand how his collaboration novels work (and Shan Serafin) and who writes what. I don't know if this is a typical Patterson. I do know that if I had not been on a long 13 hour drive between Adelaide and Canberra with little other option I would have turned this audiobook off after about 30 minutes. Supposedly championing strong female characters (but who, in reality, are frequently presented as bordering on stupid) and macho males, arrgghhh. And what does it take to do some research - a type two diabetic reliant on insulin injections when the plot required! CPR for a man with a pulse! At least my ongoing anger at the audio kept me awake while driving. A big ZERO stars if it were possible.
