THIS BOOK!!! Ahhhh, I loved it so much. The art style, the story, the characters...everything was perfection. Juliet's journey learning more about her queerness, finding her community, and learning to decenter white women in her learning was done so well. It was especially gratifying to me to read a graphic novel that highlights how white women can be especially egregious at continuing to center themselves. Especially in places of learning!
Anyway, I just realized there is a full length novel of this story too? I will definitely be checking that out!

the art was beautiful but the adaptation of the plot was rather sparse - which was nice at some points in terms of focusing on expressing characters through comics/using the medium, but confusing at others (even though i'd read the book!)
