While nothing much really happened in this book, I still loved it. It was a sweet love story :D

not bad! one of the few julia quinn books i've read where the mmc isn't just insufferable or a walking red flag. i loved george and billie's banter, and both of them denying their feelings for each other. cute over all

YES YES YES YES!! I loved it! 5 stars!
It was obvious where the book was heading but I don't even care because it was soo good. I tend to set my expectations pretty low when reading a romance novel because there are so many.. bad ones out there. You know, insta-love, too cheesy.. Stuff like that. But this book was amazing.
The main characters are so funny and witty. It was extremely entertaining to "watch" them all bicker. :D
I'm gonna have to buy more of Julia Quinn's books for sure. Great work!

But: I always rate books in consideration of their genre and other stuff like that. So of course there is a difference when I give 5 stars to The Martian or 5 stars to Because of Miss Bridgerton. I imagine that a lot more work went into The Martian and it was fantastic but Julia Quinn's book is a romance novel and falls into a certain category and considering this category it certainly deserves 5 stars. I hope I'm making sense here. :D

This is still my favorite Julia Quinn book. It's witty throughout and I just love how sure Billie is of herself. Her and George make a perfect match! It's such a comfort read I know I'll keep rereading this one any time I need it.
