A February Bride by Betsy St. Amant

Compared to the previous book, the bride from January, Allie is not such a great protagonists. She is conflicted and sure that she will fulfil the curse from her family just because all women had failed marriages in her family. In this one you could feel the influence of Christian messages. Nevertheless I wish Allie would have been different, more bold and courageous! She was the one creating her own problems with almost no need. Like Merida said in Brave: there are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it.

How many ways can I say that I loved this book? Oh my! I loved, loved, loved this book. The story was simple and sweet. The main characters were a pleasure to learn about. I actually found myself cheering for them to get it together and work things out. I smiled and cried and celebrated on this. Great writing with a wonderfully inspiring message.

I received a copy of this title in exchange for an honest review.

A February Bride is the third installment from this series. It was pretty cute just like the previous books but I feel like I'm missing something from them. I don't know what it is.. but I'm hoping one of these books within this series will somehow give me it.

Okay, so this book is about Allie and Marcus. Allie ditches Marcus at the alter. However, she can't escape him forever because his sister, who just happens to be her best friend, is getting married. They are both in the bridal party so I was interested to see how this was all going to play out.

So Allie had a really weird fear. I just didn't get it and couldn't back her up on it. Her relationship with Marcus was a lot better than I thought it would have been before she left him. I just feel like she got way inside her own mind and just started doubting everything.

Then there's Marcus, who was so sweet. I felt so bad for him because of how Allie left him and everything. I really wanted to like this book a lot more than I did but I feel like this book was so rushed. I also had a feeling that I wanted the book to go a certain way and I actually really liked how this ended.

Overall, it was cute but it was definitely rushed and missing something something.

I love this book, Why the main character struggles to find her worth and struggles with letting go of the past and moving to the feature to find the love of her life. will she take to long to find what she's looking for a loose whats in front of her? All while her best friend has found love. This author gets to the heart of the matter right away as the book is no more the 120 pages or so but the story it self is amazing. This is worth the buy and the read.

Thank you Zondervan and Netgalley for the free read

This was a quick, cute read.
Allie was getting ready for her wedding, wearing a dress passed down from generations. Generations of failed love and marriages. She didn't want that, couldn't do that to Marcus. They were doomed and she wanted him to live a better life. The love of her life deserved better. So she ran away before even walking down the isle. Fast forward a couple of months and her best friend, Marcus's sister, invites her to her wedding shower. She is reluctant because she knows Marcus will be there and she hasn't spoken to him since before the almost wedding. But she knows she has to suck it up and go for the sake of her best friend. When the meet again it is undeniable the attraction they both still feel for each other. Will Allie be able to overcome her fears to try this love thing once again?
Great book. Great characters. Great story.

A February Bride by Betsy St. Amant – No one believes in love more than Marcus’s family. Even after Allie panics and leaves him at the altar, they don’t lose hope that she will be a part of their family if she will only bring her fears to her Heavenly Father. So sweet! Happy Reading!

(I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review).

"In A February Bride by Betsy St. Amant, history repeats itself when this bride runs out of the church on her wedding day---in the same dress that had been passed down for generations and worn by her mom, grandma and great-grandmother who also ran out of their weddings. The heroine struggles to break destructive cycles of the past. Can this bride shuck expectation and discover who SHE is as a bride and in the Bride of Christ? And if she finally walks down the aisle, what dress will she be wearing?" (From Amazon)

The storyline was cliched and I found myself skimming parts of the 92 page novella. I was disappointed with this February wedding.
