I’m sorry but I can’t believe this is the same author who wrote the Bargainer trilogy.
This series was a disaster. I know the power of love concept can be done million times better- aka Once Upon a Time.
This was just sex and killing and being zero percent self aware. When you write a fantasy(?) book like this you have to know you can’t just write anything right? All the books had all the same tropes and they were all badly written except for the first book. But that is maybe because that was the first time I read it so it wasn’t boring at the time.

wow, that ending has me crying as i write this
i think this was a great book, just as the other 3 and the series were, and the main characters are so great. i love the trope of destiny and fated love, especially between such cosmic forces as death and life. it made me think back to my days as a reylo stan, i think death and lazarus give off the same vibes as rey and kylo very much!
i wish we could've seen more of the other horsemen's love interests, especially towards the end. i was glad they didn't make an appearance for much of the book, since this is death and lazarus' story, but it's also an ending to the series. i wanted to know more about the life sara and victor got to spend together, about war's daughters, and i just missed reading ana and famine's chemistry.
