Found a free app on my phone with all the Sherlock Holmes stories contained within!! I thoroughly enjoyed this first installment and am looking forward to reading them all - some for the first time!

I read Hound of the Baskervilles when I was much younger, so this was my first adult encounter with Sherlock Holmes. I enjoyed this story immensely. The second part threw me for a loop until I realized Doyle’s timeline choices. A great mystery novel all in all.

I enjoyed the mystery, I have seen the BBC Sherlock version so many times but obviously the original was pretty different. I found the second half of the novel telling the back story of the Mormons in America to be a little disjointed - I really didn't care that much to go into such detail. I'm continuing on with Sherlock's adventures though!
