[contains review for the whole Orpheus Rising storyline which collects Orpheus Rising books 1-5]

My first introduction to Orpheus was during the Wargames story arc , where Orpheus played a crucial role . However I didn't really know much about him , so i found this hard-to-find story arc and i really enjoyed it .

The premise was interesting , the sketches and colors were fantastic and i thought it was a politically relevant book as well. I feel the political connection maybe hampered the reader's enjoyment , but i always feel any media which can have an impact must do so if the said impact is for the good.

I also felt the Orpheus character possibly rubbed the audiences in a wrong way . Orpheus comes across as a black Nightwing , however Nightwing is a character upon whom readers have invested a lot of time and hence have come to understand his motivation and his character , Orpheus feels like a character out of nowhere and while he tries to come across as charming , he feels more of an Ass .

Overall though i found the subject very mature and the art style was something i really dug . What i disliked were Orpheus as a character and the predictable finale
