This was a brilliant finale of the series. I loved this trilogy and will certainly be reading again.

This one had my feelings all over the place, and seeing how everything ends and plays out was so satisfying. I also really loved the characters and worldbuilding in this third one, and how we were still learning new things despite this being the final book of the trilogy. I think my favourite part is how Jeminsin writes in 2nd person for one of the point of views, and it works really well! Over all, really great sci-fi/fantasy combination series. I would absolutely recommend.

This trilogy has a lot of world-building, which I am not used to as it’s not my usual genre. But she also writes fabulous characters with depth and grit. I wasn’t expecting so much world building to still be happening in the 3rd book, so this one was a bit of work to get through, but I do recognize that it’s really well done.
This trilogy has triggered a reading phase for my husband. I’m realizing I was just never recommending books that were right for him. He devoured this trilogy in about a month, after being like a one book a year kind of reader.
