The outdoors setting offers opportunities for interesting drama, in addition to the romance. The two main characters are likable and complex. (I don't think this is a spoiler, but...)The backpacker in me appreciates the description of the trails, and I have to say I appreciate that it matters to the drama to follow good hiking protocols.
