It's not that this book isn't good, because I really do love the concept and the story, I guess, but it's just not... I don't know how to articulate it. The concept was AMAZING but the execution I feel was quite sloppy, but it might literally just be that I didn't like the relationships in the book

i really... don't know how i felt about this. i think that it had the potential to be a good book! it definitely had a plot that could've been a five star read, but it went by so fast, yet so slow at the same time, and it just didn't do it for me.

For such an interesting concept, the book could really drag at times. A fun read though, one you shouldn't have to think too much about. Just not for me.

The concept about characters in a book talking about an author writing a book was intriguing. I was a bit letdown by the plot and subplots throughout the novel. 76

A nice story about being more than people think you are. It's an intriguing idea and the explanations are spaced out nicely so the reader doesn't feel overwhelmed with too much information or too confused without any information. I liked Riley and Zelda and I'd enjoy reading more to see what happens to them next.
