I didn't really enjoy this book. The ending kind of made up for it, but for most of the time, I particularly disliked Jane and William. While it was good she went on the adventure to find her true self (aka who she was before she met William), I found it pretty pointless, because if she had never been so foolishly taken with William, then none of this would have had to happened! I did like the Chinooks, Jehu, and Mary, so that is why it is "complicated" in the question of lovable characters, but for the most part I was just frustrated with Jane.
