I love this character - however starting a graphic novel series in the middle you feel like you lost some important bits. I love this anti hero!

Of the new Street Angel stories this is at or near the top for me. The humor and ongoing joke about how much better juvie is for Jessie compared to her normal life doesn’t get old at all. The art, as always, is top notch. Rugg has the ability to blend perfect storytelling with a variety of illustration techniques without sacrificing the narrative flow. Also, I would be amiss if I didn’t mention the physical presence of this book is unparalled. It just feels like an art object to be cherished and treasured in a way that only a book lover would understand.
