I must say the lovely look of the teen novel attracted me at first, with its decorative marbled edges. Diving into the story was equally a treat, as you meet strong-willed Chrysthana who, having married a now-deceased older man, revels in her freedom. All's well until the mysterious, handsome Eryx appears, claiming to be the true heir of the young woman's estate. Give this great book a try! - Louisa A.

I didn't like the main character. Her monologues and thoughts about her sister annoyed me. I haven't read the first book so I have no idea WTF happened but this whole, SHE DIDNT SUFFER ENOUGH FOR HER TO BE HAPPY. Like okay??????

Anyway, from the tone of the writing, it sounds like a fun and not too serious fantasy romance book.

I really liked this book but where I could let go of the lack of spice in the first book, I couldn't in the second. Not when this was published last year and hot romantasy is all the rage.
The fade to black was a huge letdown, and the plot was too much like the first book.
