This was a lovely companion to The Shadows Between Us. Chrysantha goes on a journey of jealousy, agency, freedom, revenge, forgiveness, and safety that is beautiful.

It is also great to see the rwo Stathos sisters come back together and realize how much they had in common all along.

I loved the cameos but this truly felt like a standalone. Though it did make me want to reread TSBU again.
