I thought I missed something and had to go over the end again. Nope. What a strange ending!

Another page turner. Over the top as all Reacher stories are and good escapist reading.

Really good and easy read! I liked the concept of the count down and it got me hocked, but it meant I was always just waiting for the big finale to happen and any sort of tense moment prior to that felt a bit underwhelming and didn't quite keep it as exciting as it could have been. But overall, I really liked it and think Reacher is such an awesome character. Would recommend!

"Yes, I think he did. I think he's the sort of guy who sees things five seconds before the rest of the world."

I didn't have much luck with books number 12 and 13 in the Jack Reacher series. I have loved some of the instalments in the series and hated others but I have never not finished one until the year of 2018 and then I ended up not finishing two books in a row!

On to book number 14, 61 HOURS. I was wary but I wanted to carry on with the series and I hoped for the best. 61 HOURS did not let me down, I was hooked from the first chapter, we were back in an action packed universe with the one and only Jack Reacher. I found it difficult to put this story down, I loved the new characters and ended up having my heart broken at the end.

I am a reader who thrives off the atmosphere a book gives of so I was destined to love this one. 61 HOURS is set in a small town called Bolton, Reacher has found himself stuck in this small snow covered town when his bus crashes, but was it an accident? I felt like I was there along with Reacher, I felt cold at times but all cosy and warm when he was welcomed into a few of the locals homes.

Reacher finds himself helping the locals find out what had really happened with the bus as well as with the mystery of a dead body. This is one of the easier, more entertaining reads of the series, with characters you're bound to fall in love with and a story line you won't want to stop reading about.

"I'll have plenty of time to read, after all this fuss is over."

The only negative of this story was that I guessed who the 'baddy' was and Jack Reacher didn't even figure that one out until the very end! Trust me, Reacher is smarter than little old me. Usually if I guessed the 'who done it' then I find myself being disappointed but I wasn't at all, the story itself did so much to keep me entertained and I found myself laughing out loud as well as gasping throughout the reading experience.
