3.0

Similar to "I Know What You Did Last Summer", but without the stalker element. 4 "good" kids, joking around, make a prank phone call which results in 2 deaths. One of the four tries to assuage her remorse with exaggerated acts of kindness towards the survivor, but becomes even more guilt ridden as she realizes how much suffering she has caused. One of a number of "bad choices" teen novels from the 70s and 80s, this is better than most.
