 2.5 stars ⭐️ 

Just kind of disappointing? There were some panels that were absolutely gorgeous, but that’s really the only positive. The plot was hard to follow, and the characters were flatter than cardboard. There was nice anxiety rep at first, but it didn’t continue or play a bigger part in the story by the end. Sadly, a big miss for me.

El arte está lindo pero tampoco es wow (me hizo pensar mucho en los picrew). 

Sin embargo, lo que le juega mal a la historia es su ritmo. Por momentos es muy rápido, luego lento y así sucesivamente. El final tal vez sea un guiño a una segunda parte (si a esta le va bien).

No vemos mucho del conflicto, no vemos mucho del romance, no vemos mucho de las debilidades y miedos que las atormentan, no vemos mucho de la resolución. Vemos solo migajas entonces al final no te da mucho de donde agarrarte😩

Igual yo me lo hypee mucho y también pensé que era sobre otra cosa (que la prometían a la reina pirata como acuerdo de paz kajsjd alucine).

it was a really good concept and the art was beautiful but I found it too boring, it felt like it kept making itself longer just to be longer

It took me a while to get into the style, which is very manga-informed. Sometimes it was hard to follow the action, and there were a number of typos in the text. I’d happily check out a sequel or any further efforts from the author and illustrator, though!
