I give this book 4.5/5. I liked it way more than I expected. Jase might just be my new favorite book boyfriend. I didn’t necessarily like the back and forth that went on in between these two. I also didn’t really the whole thing with the roommate either. I thought it was unnecessary to the plot. Overall really enjoyed the book.

Well that was that... I really did like this book, but some points made me highly irritated with some characters...
I liked how we got to see the brother sister bond between Tess and Cam, and I liked the eventual romance between Tess and Jase- but that was where a lot of anger came from in this story.
I understand Jase's fears about dating his best friends sister, I understand his other fears about getting into a relationship, but at what point do we forgive a character for his slightly annoying tendencies and really root for him to pull his head out of his ass?! I have to admit that I was extremely happy when he finally did and they found the relationship that they did.
On the flip side... Tess... I know she liked him for a very long time and loved him long before she realized but Lord Almighty girl. I know she made her feelings quite clear, I know she was never happy with being friends, and I know this is a typical girl thing to do, but seriously? When you're drunk? What?!
Despite some of the character flaws, I really enjoyed this book... I can't wait for Calla's story (that scar... I need to know what the story is).
Recommended for sure.

My thoughts:
Dear lord! It’s getting harder and harder to write review for Jennifer. I mean each book I read by her I just can’t help falling in love with. And Be with Me is no exception. I really do adore this series, the characters and their stories!
I really love Jennifer's writing style, doesn't matter if it's a New Adult or a YA paranormal book; she seems to really capture the age group and the personalities of her characters. And she has a humorous, fun writing style that I am instantly drawn to. She also seems to make characters I can’t help but liking.
Getting to know Teresa and Jase was so much fun! I really liked Teresa’s personality. It felt that Teresa was a bit different from all the other heroines that Jennifer writes about. I’m not sure why, she just wasn't what I was expecting I guess. She was, however, a really likable character. Strong and very determined, but also very kind and sweet. I definitely enjoyed reading her story and learning about her. And getting to see the world through her eyes. I adored her strength and how she felt about Jase.
Oh, don’t get me started on Jase! Just another fictional boy to add to my list of fictional hunks! Now, he was a character that had a lot going on. So learning about him was a thrill! I loved his story and I’m so happy that Jennifer put his story out there. Jase was just such a sweet guy, and very caring. But he also had that cocky side to him too. Though Cam is still the first in my heart, I can’t help but love Jase. His story really was such a heart clincher.
I loved the chemistry that was between Jase and Teresa. I really felt it and, boy, was it fun to read about! I think I also enjoyed the intensity between them and how they tried to fight the chemistry but to no avail. Both Jase and Teresa had to overcome some obstacles in their lives, so there was also a lot of growth in them too. And I’m really proud of the things that they overcame in the book.
The story, to me, played out well. Everything that happened challenged the characters in a way that showed me who they are and also allowed them to grow. The plot was nicely built and I think everything did move at a nice pace. Though I did see some of the twists, one did take me by surprise. A very good surprise!
I also loved that I got to see Cam and Avery! I adore this couple and it’s nice to see that their relationship is just as wonderful as it was when Wait for You ended.
I think this was a great second book in the series and I’m so happy to have Teresa and Jase’s story! I couldn’t help but fall in love with them! They both melted my heart. I definitely recommend this one to lovers of the series and of course JLA fans!

Cam & Avery were the two main characters of Wait for You. Cam's little sister Teresa, and his best friend Jase get their story told in Be with Me. Teresa had always dreamed of being a dancer, so when she hurt herself, and those dreams were put on hold she tried her hand at college. She'd been in love with Jase for years, and after one heart stopping kiss, thought he wanted to be with her. A year of avoidance, killed that notion, and broke her heart in the process. Jase has more going on than the average college student, and very few people know about all of his baggage.

After the third or fourth time of him making a move on Tess, and then giving her the cold shoulder she is surprised when he says he wants to be with her. She wants this as well, but things don't stay good long. Shortly after hooking up, he tells her he can't do it, and that he doesn't want anything serious. She is heartbroken all over again, but this time with very intimate knowledge of his absence. Her roommate Debbie's boyfriend Erik, is an abusive prick, and when Tess tries to get in the middle of one of his rages, she falls and injures her knee permanently. The damage is too much, and because of that she now knows for certain she will never dance again. Jase tells Tess that Jack, his little brother is actually his son. He was sixteen when his girlfriend Kari got pregnant. His parents adopted him, and have been raising him as their own. Kari died in a car accident shortly after Jack was born, and Jase feels tremendous guilt over his initial feelings of having a baby, and for not raising his son as his own the last five years. Debbie ends up breaking up with her boyfriend, and she and Tess discuss their abusive relationships. Debbie seems hopeful at starting over, so when Tess finds her dead, of an apparent suicide, she doesn't believe that's what happened. No one really takes her seriously, and seems to think that Debbie was just upset over the breakup. Her boyfriend corners Tess twice, telling her it was her fault she was dead, that Tess stuck her nose where it didn't belong. At the end she and Jase are really over, and she goes back to her dorm to pack up the rest of her things. Erik is waiting for her in her dorm, and confesses to killing Debbie while attempting to do the same to Tess. He tells her that neither of them are leaving the room except in a body bag. Jase saves her, and then proceeds to tell her that he pushed her away because he was afraid to lose her, but realized after Erik hurt her that he almost lost her without ever having her. They get back together, and seemingly live happily ever after.

I loved this book. I loved the side of Jase that we got to know and his story. The emotions you go thru in this book reading their story are covered. I laughed and cried in parts of this book. This is character from Wait for you, but you can read this alone. Having Read Wait for you I loved that we got some of Cam and Avery. Great book.

Another fantastic book by one of my favourite authors!
By writing this book J. Lynn has made us see that you can find love everywhere and that you just has to fight for it. Our characters are so beauitful made and I love every one of them and can't wait for the next one!

It was good.
Este tipo de libros siempre fue mi comfort zone pero creo que ya cambiaron mis gustos en este punto. Mi yo de 15 años tal vez le hubiera encantado el libro como el primero lo hizo pero ahora que lei me siento meh on respect a la lectura, si lo comparo a como me senti cuando lei la primera parte, este libro no me hizo sentir nada de eso, pero creo que es por el momento que empece a leerlo.
Fue una buena historia de romance con twists que no vi venir, pero no fue algo que se me quedara en la mente.
Con respecto a su relación amorosa, el inicio cuando Jase no sabia lo que queria, tipo te beso pero me arrepiento, luego let's be friends coqueteamos, te doy esperanzas, te beso, me arrepiento like dude really? Se que tiene que ver con lo que sabemos despues pero no fue algo que disfrute realmente y otra cosa que siento I dont know es Teresa solo tiene 18 años! Y ya tiene una familia establecida y un plan de futuro heavy? Siento que en la vida real, cuando cresca el arrepentimiento llegara.
Hell, tengo 19 mientras escribo esto y cuando leia que ella queria formar una familia y all of that estaba like wow that's a big step sis porque tienes toda tu vida adelante y si, te puede gustar el chico, he's hot as hell, pero recien empiezas tu vida y comprometerte de tal manera no creo que resulte bien. Pero a fin y a cabo es ficción but it was something I wanted to add, aside of that I liked it, I really really enjoyed to see Avery and Cam,they are so sweet and a beautiful couple y esperaba ver la pedida but oh well.
