Okay, I feel like I need to watch the movie or read the actual book because I feel heckin' confuzzed and bamboozled. If the art wasn't so sublime I would have rated this 3 stars. I have so many questions!

A wonderful graphic novel adaptation of a great book. The art is fantastic, the adaptation is very faithful.

I honestly don’t know what I just read. Maybe I should watch the movie? Pretty pictures though...

My library sent me the graphic novel instead of the actual story I’d requested, but I am so pleased with the mistake. Having never read the full version of The Last Unicorn and having not seen the movie in some years, this was a beautiful storytelling and visual experience.

For the comic/graphic novel medium, it is critical that the perfect artists be found to compliment the story. Here, that has been achieved perfectly, transitioning seamlessly to wonder, magic, fantasy and horror. All of the characters are beautifully portrayed, and the mood and setting shifts seamlessly as the story progresses.

I will definitely be adding this volume to my personal collection.

First off, I enjoyed the plot of the book but I felt like some scenes were slow. Secondly, I am currently sick so my reviews might be more rushed though then usual

I've read the book, listened to the audio-book and watched the movie and now I've read the graphic novel. There is magic in each version, but the graphic novel is truly a work of art. Peter Beagle's timeless story paired with stunning illustrations. This is one of those stories that I believe everyone should read at least once.

This is a graphic novel edition of THE LAST UNICORN. My generation grew up loving the animated version of this, and the original novel by Peter S. Beagle. All versions are amazing.

The graphic novel is just about everything you could want it to be. Gorgeous, with a touch of the otherwordly in its art. I had issues with a handful of spots where the adaptation was not clear about what was going on -- readers who have not known this story in another format could become confused at times because of the vagueness of some of the text. Aside from that, my only other quibble was with the interviews at the back of the book being crammed into tiny print to save on page count. Many of us readers do not have the young eyes we used to, and we would have appreciated being able to read that interview without straining our eyeballs.

All in all, a lovely edition, well worth spoiling yourself with or giving as a gift to the next generation, so that THE LAST UNICORN will live, generation after generation, in the hearts of humankind.
