I'm screaming. The sun is out and I need to go to bed.

So listen. The art got even better. Like some of these panels wowed me. I wasn't ready.

We find out that one of the main cast is genderqueer in this story. I loved the discussions around it. Robbie asked Neve what their pronoun preference is at one point. It was so good.

Then we got an unexpected conversation about mental health and experiencing a physical symptom because of anxiety or PTSD. I'm just loving this all around.

Then the plot. Things are explained I didn't get before about the magic with a helpful flashback. The team faces off against the shadow that attacked them a couple times back in chapter one. Plus we learn more about Eryl, Hayden, and other side characters.

Also the reason I'm screaming. I started shipping a couple in this book and at the end of this set, the ship sailed. It is sailing. I'm screaming. Like it made me so happy. I was thinking ooh this is going in the right direction but it'll probably take a while to get there. Nope already there.

Loved it. Now sleep time so I don't fall over.
