This is like a solution of all the Coppelia/Galatea/whatever sexy fembot shit out there, but more to my point, it's a lesson in why Vladimir Nabokov should be eradicated from the literary canon. If I never again see someone try to ape his overwrought style, especially when pulling some sort of Jimmy Stewart in Vertigo nonsense, it will be too soon. It will be too soon. It will be too soon. Please, God, if you find yourself wanting to write something about noble-winged seraphs and tangles of thorns--especially if it's something that would wind up in a local news article with a seedy mugshot, double especially if you think you have a subversive take on it--please smash your writing hand in a drawer and take up gardening while it heals. The world is missing so many gardeners.

That being said, it is unintentionally funny to the point of being entertaining, and I read the whole thing, so.
