This book was not what I expected. I expected to go on a journey with list of data points showing how this research developed a person. Rather this book was a memoir that accounts exactly who the person was because of all of her life experiences. This book proves that as much as we study anything, we can never really predict the future because there are too many variables.

This definitely should have been billed as a memoir versus an investigation into the study and how it affected her life. It was more about the author and how she lived through trying to research the study she'd been part of. While she lived an interesting life, I wanted to know more about the study and the details within it. Overall I liked her writing and learning about her life
