An incredibly clever concept -- taking the Red Sox's 2004 World Series win after an 86 year drought -- and giving it a fantasy adventure spin. With a bit of anti-racism thrown in. And it's a good book, to boot.

The book was ok. The author did good research about the Red Sox. The mythological creatures were a strange twist on the Red Sox myth.
