I love Anne of Green Gables so much <3 This was such a lovely rendition of it, the artist captured the essence of bliss and comfort that is connected to Avonlea

Oh, it was so nice to spend time with Anne again! It’s been far too long. I was curious about this graphic novel version of Anne’s story as I’d seen some of my students reading it. I did enjoy it, but more than anything it made me want to go back and read the original novel again. I hope that everyone who loves this version will be inspired to read the original. It would be great if this graphic novel introduced Anne and her beloved Green Gables to a whole new generation of dreamers.

I've never read Anne books, but now I feel very tempted to. I absolutely adored the art style in this one, so gorgeous!

This was an okay graphic novel adaptation of one of my favorite books. I felt like a lot of the characters and events were too distilled to really do justice to the humor or other emotions that are so strong in the original text. It was difficult to see, especially, just how over-dramatic and funny Anne is.
The art was okay, but stylistically not my favorite.
