ORGYFEST is a weird, quirky, crime noir. The story is laced with humor that sometimes hits and sometimes doesn't. They can't all be gems, right. All in all a somewhat ambitious effort in concept from author Julia Platz-Halter that walks the fine line between pulp and high concept.

The content itself could use a once over. I found a few grammatical quirks to be a bit irksome and pulled me out of the story. But, for the most part, the plot moves along and doesn't meander or become too mottled. The concept of Orgyfest and all the other fests that exist around it creates pretty unique world. The whole thing comes to a mind-fucking crescendo that might confuse Einstein if he didn't follow along close enough to the details.

Bottom line: ORGYFEST was fun. No matter your kink, ORGYFEST will one up you and leave you feeling vanilla in a world where chocolate exists and doesn't exist at the same time. Bong!
