this was a gag gift from my kids, because of course, lets buy the English teacher goofy books, which she loves. good for a hilarious quick read and easy recap of P&P, but only after you've read the real thing, because Austen = ❤️

I thought this was super fun! You have to understand the original Pride & Prejudice to enjoy this cute emoji adaptation, but it makes for a great companion piece. It's definitely gimmicky, but we can probably also draw some insightful conclusions about the evolution (or, devolution?) of language and the way we use it for communication and self-expression.

This is the strangest Pride and Prejudice adaptation I've ever read.

Not my favorite edition of this story, but interesting to see it stripped to the bones and communicated in current modern style.
