The art was-alright, liked the simple monochrome colour and the cover design. But, nothing happened. 263 pages and nothing happened, yeah there was a little conflict but other than that there just wasn't enough happening for me. I did like that the pages were numbered though, a lot of graphic novels I've read (not many) didn't have that, and that the Rugby Coach talked about how you can't tell someone's sexuality by how they look and that it's not nice to speculate about it. I'll probably read more to see what happens next, hopefully there are more things happening later on.

I absolutely adore Nick and Charlie. Heartstopper is a heartwarming story about discovering your sexuality and navigating different relationships. I love the fact that they start of as such a good friends first, before realising their feelings for one another. The characters are super interesting. Adorable read and I'm instantly starting book 2 as I need to know what happens next!
