Book two did not disappoint! Getting the back story of why Aveen made her decision was fun and intriguing! Rian was extremely charismatic I don’t know how Aveen fought for so long

Jenny Hickman’s A Cursed Heart is the perfect follow up to A Cursed Kiss.

The plot follows Aveen and Rían on an adventure through of through the dangerous fae world where you can trust no one. Each is forced to confront their past: Aveen as the perfect daughter who will make a deal with the devil for her own independence and her sister’s happiness and Rían as a half fae with a dark secret about who truly controls his heart.

Aveen and Rían are fantastic characters. Both a little bit morally grey in their own ways, they truly play off of each other. I love getting Aveen’s POV on the events of book 1 and following her love story with Rían.

If you like enemies to lovers, he falls first, curses, morally grey characters, and witty banter, then put this book at the top of your list.

Rian and Aveen's love is just as nuanced as Tadhg and Keelynn's. I can't wait to see how their stories wrap up

I loved the back and fourth between the characters. The only thing I wish was that there was more to the ending, but it was great either way.
