Going into this novel, I wasn’t sure what I’d think. Either it’d be too geeky for me or...? I was sure I would feel out of place with this novel and world. But I didn’t feel that way at all and quite enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed R.A.Salvatore’s writing style, I enjoyed the unusual world and social structure. I was also really intrigued and always wanting more of the main characters story!
For D&D lovers and gamers, this novel will have the Easter eggs you will expect and the knowledge that comes from the games will be helpful. However, this is still super accessible to non-game players of D&D like myself!
