My favorite part? Tori Amouse! Ha! I'm a big Tori Amos fan so seeing that just made my day. :)

Caleb wanted to bring some babymouse home from my classroom. We read Babymouse before bed. So far, in 4th grade, only my girls are reading babymouse...I think that is sad. I cannot get the boys to read her--yet.

Babymouse surely has ADD, she can't focus in school, is very prone to daydreaming, and she really doesn't like fractions! But she has a heart of gold, works hard, believes in herself and learns to play the flute! This quirky black and white and pink graphic novel is perfect for girls first grade (independent readers) and up! (Even though the word "stupid" is used; I had to assure my kids it is OK to read the word but not say it).

Quick read. Very entertaining, found myself giggling at some of the pages. Also has a lovely art style. Appropriate for any age :)

This is one of the best Babymouse books in my opinion. Babymouse dreams of being a rock star, which who hasn't. What I really like is that she chose to play the flute. I am a flute player too and so is Babymouse. Yay!
I think her daydreams are great in this one. This is a fun series for young adults.
