This books started as a 3 stars but then it got reallly good half way in. I will note James Dean is trash from start to finish 🥴 and Andrew is a king 😍 Even though Keely is 17 and in high school, she’s very relatable in my opinion and I can’t be mad at her messy decisions though she was very susceptible to peer pressure.
Minor: Bullying
James Dean felt grimy from from the second he showed sexual interest in Keely.levilore_'s review against another edition

I really liked this story. I definitely expected it to be a classic teen romance storyline, but I really think the overall message of the story was well-conveyed. The dialogue was funny, the characters were relatable, and the relationships definitely captured high school. I knew how it was going to end, just from the nature of the genre, but there was a revelation at the end that even I didn't expect. A fun read!
