I almost really liked this but I just needed a teeny tiny bit more of information.... Like just one or two more reveals/facts and it would've been amazing!
Maybe there'll be a sequel one day

Enjoyable enough to read at a single gulp, but in retrospect, a little scattered in execution.

Her Silhouette, Drawn in Water was...interesting. I enjoyed the premise, but I was a bit disappointed to learn that some of the novella was..."imaginary", so to speak.
I don't want to say too much about it, given how short it is, but it was an enjoyable read. I don't know how accurate it is, but I decided to look up the meaning behind the name "Chela", one of our main characters, and discovered it could mean 'consolation', or 'comfort', which I do think is very fitting given what the final confrontation with Chela implied.
Star Rating: ★★★☆☆ (i.e. "Not bad")

Her Silhouette, Drawn in Water was quite interesting. I didn't understand everything that was happening (and neither did the protagonist) but the story kept my interest. The sense of claustrophobia at the beginning was very well done, and I liked the "battle" at the end. While there were loose ends left, I think the author made the right choice with the end of the story.
