Way better than the last volume.
Story: The story is split into two: a monster of the week and a more casual slice of life. I actually found myself being way more invested in the slice of life one. It was some of the Janes playing a board game and it’s just pure fun to read. I loved seeing some of the Zodiac cabin again. Also Barney got some screen time! However the monster of the week was kinda lacking, as it felt pretty repetive and it want super interesting. There are some small character moments from Ripley and Mal, but that’s kinda it. I feel like they need to do some more concrete worldbuilding to explain the monster of the week lately. I hope that it will be explained later.
Art: I do like the style, the characters all look distinct again. It gets a little rough and sloppy at the last chapter though. The characters don’t seem as expressive as well.
All in all a better than average volume.

I didn't love this one quite as much as the previous installments in the series.

It's a rainy day at camp or, rather, it's a dangerously stormy day at camp and all of the campers, including the Roanokes promise to stay inside. While some play a convoluted board game devised by another camper, others go on a snack-finding mission and end up in caverns infested by large, potentially lethal bugs (but, hey, they didn't go outside, right?).
While this volume still has the signature charm, some of the stakes and depth of previous volumes are not as present in volume 13. That said, this series is still well worth a read.

While stuck inside on a rainy day, the Lumberjanes still manage to get into supernatural adventures
