I enjoyed the Dollhouse, but as the series continued, the storyline started to get more convoluted and harder to follow. I eventually finished because I don't like stopping in the middle of a series, but there were a few times when I considered doing so. The Dollhouse works well as a standalone novel, but you could get away without reading the rest of the series and not really lose anything.

I liked the idea of this book/series when I read the synopsis. Once I started it, I hated everything about the writing. I struggled to even pick this back up when I walked away from it to get things done around the house. Not worth my time.
