Thank you Netgalley, SC Mendes, Nikki Noir and Bloodhound Books for the eArc of Welcome to the Club.

This book is a great anthology of splatter punk horror and not afraid to cross this line are some great authors in this genre of horror.  Each story varies from weird office politics, a goresome party and a convenience store which some belly popping cakes are but some of these awesome stories. If you are not squeamish by detailed gore and blood thirsty for more then this is a great book as it doesn't hold back. It's visceral in its content, well paced and will definitely invoke "  eugh " facial pulling !  A great fun read.

With the sequel recently released, I thought I'd re-read this one. I know I've read it before, so I'm not sure why it isn't showing as reviewed on Amazon and GR. I'm doing this thing where I'm reading a couple of shorts in between each book that I read, and these shorts are perfect for that.
This book is full of gore, splat, humor and all around fun!!!
There's a story in space that really stuck with me. In actuality, there's \not a bad story in the bunch

A stellar debut!

This anthology is sloppy and wet, stained with gore and blood and fluids, not a bad story in the whole lot. I really enjoyed reading this collection!

4.5 out of 5 stars.

With the 3rd instalment in development I though I'd better check this one out, I have already read the 2nd instalment and loved it.
This was a great anthology, with all sorts of stories. there is a few space horrors, a psycho CEO on a hobby hose, a drug deal takes a bizarre twist, and a guy who will try eating anything once.
Some of my favourites are

Grinder by Nikki Noir
a great mix of smut and horror, I've read a few by Nikki now and laved them all

Code Black by Matthew Weber
a great twist on a school bully story.

Splattery in Space by matthew vaughn is a fun zero gravity mess.

If you like splatter punk, you will love this fun little anthology.

Thank you Joe Spagnola, S.C. Mendes and Blood Bound Books for the opportunity to read a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was lucky enough to win an ARC of this book which features short stories from some of my favorite authors like CM Saunders, Robert Essig, John McNee, and Nikki Noir among many others. I am a big fan of extreme horror and this book did not disappoint!

Time to get splattered!

Welcome to the Splatter Club is a diverse and enjoyable sampling of Splatterpunk tales that includes such fearsome and blackly hilarious horrors as rebellious sperm, eldritch penguins, and parasites that cause satyriasis. Some of my favorites include ‘Splatter Party’ by John McNee, a tale of a party gone horribly wrong (or horribly right, depending on your perspective); ‘Grinder’ by Nikki Noir, a piece of erotic horror delirium in the tradition of Barker’s ‘Age of Desire;’ ‘Dickey Dykstra’ by Airika Sneve, a gonzo journey into a realm of boardroom bitching and psycho CEOs; and ‘The Woman in the Ditch’ by Joshua Rex, a spooky piece of masterful prose about a pair of teenage boys and the sinister thing that wants a piece of their blossoming manhood. If you’re a fan of horror, then check this out – you will undoubtedly find something in here to your liking.
