Set a good base for knowing the characters and where they are later in life. Will be interesting to see if she does save her friend. ( I have not seen the anime.)

Synopsis:
On the first day of 11th grade Naho gets a letter addressed to herself from 10 years in the future. At first she thinks it’s a bunch of Bologna but when she reads about a new transfer student coming in and looks up only to see her teacher announce the same thing in reality, she realizes this may just be real. And her future self has something very specific in mind: Befriend the new boy in school, keep him close and save his life.
Review:
Orange is the first slice of life Manga I’ve read this year and I am OBSESSED! I finished it in a day because I just COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! The characters are so lovable, the plot is so captivating, and I just couldn’t pry my eyes away! I’m beating myself up for not having bought the whole darn collection! This manga is perfect. (Yes I realize I’ve been saying that often but I guess I’ve just been having a really lucky reading year).

This is going to frustrate me by not ending in a threesome, isn't it.
