So I loved seeing the relationship develop between the two main characters but it has been my least favorite in the salacious club book series. I felt the development and the love between them and I love the individual change the characters experience but I don’t know it was hard for me to get through.

Sara Cate... my my my, you pulled on the heartstrings with this one. But this entire series was excellent and I certainly wish there was more!

We FINALLY get Maggie's story here and behold, we get Beau back from Praise. Emerson's son, Charli's ex-boyfriend, and now stepson? I know, I know, it gets confusing... But stick with me!

From the beginning of the series, we meet the owners of the Salacious Players Club and their entwined lives, which wraps it up for us, with the Domme/Brat situation. Glad to see Maggie finally and hear Beau's story.

Now we need to hear about Eden St. Clair, please??

Most definitely a solid 4.75 for me!

this book was so scrumptious. i love me some good character development (and a good femdom story - maggie did pretty well for a first-time domme)

I really enjoyed this book. Sara Cate has an uncanny ability to take the genre of kinky romance and tell a story that is authentic and human. The characters in this book have a lot of depth, and their journey brings up questions of shame, guilt, masculinity and the patriarchy. It doesn’t hurt that the book is also very Spicy in a unique not often written about way.

The reason I didn’t give this book 5 stars is that the pacing was slightly off, it was a bit slow in the middle and then the end was tied up almost too quickly. That wouldn’t stop me from recommending it though :)
