I read this because I want to understand what autistic child is actually feel. Since after my son's diagnosis last year, I'm anxious to be in his world. If possible, I don't want to follow guidelines like how to be with autistic child, created and made by people who aren't autistic themselves. I want to learn, understand and follow the needs of autistic people from autistic people themselves. You understand what I mean?
Don't leave, don't segregate them, just because they are different from us. Instead, why not us neurotypical, try to adapt with them neurodivergent, be empathetic and understanding. Hence, surely all of us can co-exist beautifully in this challenging life.

Worthwhile read. The short story at the end, I'm Right Here is phenomenal.

This book helped me understand autism and how it affects the body and mind. I found this quite interesting even though non fiction books are really my thing. I love how this book is layed out in the question answer format. Overall it was a really pleasant and informative experience
