I enjoyed reading this book. I would love to read another one by this author. There were characters you loved and ones that were awful. I really liked Tiffany's character because she was smart and had her head on straight during a really bad situation. I also liked Maddie she was a good female lead. I would recommend this book to others who enjoy this genre.

Quickly captivating and fast paced, the world of Maddie Devine sucked me in.
I kind of figured out the people behind one kidnapping early in the book, but it was still enjoyable.
The ending left me disappointed and flat. One character deserved better.
Looking forward to the next book in the series.

A Deadly Blessing begins when Maddie and her partner are called in to help find the Governor's missing daughter. This is a high profile case that needs to be kept out of the press, and Maddie and her partner are the only ones who work missing persons so it's up to them to find her. Not only does Maddie have to deal with this major case, but she and her husband are on rock ground right now due to things that have happened in the last year. And now they aren't sure what to do now.

This book is told from many different people's point of views. It really makes the story interesting seeing it from so many people's point of views. But I have to say it wasn't that great either. It wasn't bad but not great. I thought over all it was okay. My main thing I didn't like was the fact that I didn't really feel a whole lot of emotion coming from Maddie. Even in the end when something bad happened it seemed she really didn't exert to much emotion over it. I have to say my favorite character was Maddie's husband Travis. He was a nice guy who wanted to get his wife back, and make things right in his world. So I have to say I wasn't overly impressed with how the book ended either. The book has lots of mystery, suspense, and some drama. Even a major sad part as well.
