This book started out promising. Reminded me of ER or Grey's Anatomy which is why I bought it in the first place. However, it quickly turned into an episode of 24, complete with "I'll solve the problem myself" protagonists and bombs going off. The timeline was a bit unrealistic, and the author seemed to completely drop the character development in order to dig herself out of the hole that got deeper with every 24 or Nancy-Drew-like plot twist. The ending left me unsatisfied because of this. The first 200, 250 pages are good summer reading though.
