I liked the colors, the font and how the panels were organized. Great information about pinball that I didn't know before.

An informative, well written, beautifully illustrated history of pinball. I'm still intimidated AF to make a go with my local pinball league, but this was easy to approach and very helpful in feeling more comfortable around the machines!

Saw this in the list of Eisner nominations and thought it looked interesting. The art is fantastic and full of the energy of an actual pinball game. The history itself is well-written and more interesting than I knew before reading it. Good sense of drama. The development of the game is interesting but at times may have gotten a little too detailed. A minor quibble, but the human aspect of the story is where the book shines.

The tips for actually playing was a nice addition.

I can’t believe this book explained to me why I hate pinball. I didn’t realize there were like sequences and stuff to try and do! This was super informative and the art style was incredible and colorful.
