I liked the concept for this book - we're all someone's ex. The little vignettes were original and amusing and captured the complexity of how we feel about our own exes, and those of our new loves. The drawings are wonderful and original.

Interesting and surprisingly emotional considering how quick of a read this is.

A really honest look at how it feels to date someone you know has an ex...so basically anyone. The graphics were really cool and the story was so recognizable. It was fun for a few pages at a time to see how stories interwove. Nice resolution at the end as well.

Very interesting. Makes you think about relationships and how people are interconnected.

This short work of "essays" is thought provoking in as far as it goes--we all wonder about our significant others' pasts--but I wanted more in terms of narrative and character. I did like the combination of artwork and text though- a little like a grown-up picture book (but it's not in the "adult" sense if you know what I mean).

Finished this in under an hour. It was an okay book, but bot spectacular. I found some of the stories a little confusing.

What a loaded question. If there's one thing to take away from this book, it's that you should never ask this one. Was she pretty? Of course she was.

The book is a series of very short bios, usually one or two sentences about an ex. For example, "Katya's boyfriend never stopped sending her postcards" or "Isaac would not let Rebecca answer the telephone in his apartment." Mini stories on one side of the page, sketches on the other.

I can't decide if this would be a great book or a depressing book to read right after a break up. Maybe both. And maybe that's why the detatched sweetness of the book is so effective.
