I enjoyed myself. I smiled, I giggled, I thought about how it feels to be with my own girlfriend. Black lesbians in romance, and what a lovely and enticing romance it was. Truly a perfectly fun, not so serious, but absolutely serious romance novel, and I’m so glad to be able to relate.

This was cute. Definitely a good read while the newest season of love is blind is on lol. I enjoyed the tension of the relationship, I loved the layers of familial acceptance & of course I’ll never say no to some lesbian spice. BUTTTT overall I felt like they leaned into way too many queer/gay stereotypes so it came off like they were trying too hard. It was borderline cringy in some parts.

Also, ain’t no way in hell I’m believing a light skin stud with locs & tattoos is a good person lol
