Finally I had the chance to read the second volume of Sweet Tooth!
Lemire gives us the backstory of Jepperd which keep surprising me, not exactly by what happens but by interlocking it with events from the present.
Sweet Tooth is also being held by a bunch of men who want animal-children to investigate how the plague came to be and stop it. Or at least that how they justify their deplorable action. We learn more about Sweet Tooth past and some interesting things (and questions) arise. This volume was more well-rounded than the first one showing us a much darker world while setting the groundwork for more to come and revealing enough to keep us interested while still keeping the mystery.

Still very good. I like the story slightly better than the artwork. The colouring is very good too.

This story is starting to pick up and give us more info. We have more lore of the world. And back story of characters. And we meet more characters.

This book is has a completely different order of events compared too the show. And we don't have the stories of the other main characters like the show but I love it none the less.
