What the heck?? I didn't want to put this book down. Book 1 was slow for me and didn't go anywhere, but this one hit the ground running! I adore Louisa in this one and so much is revealed about her history and her past and who she is!!  I love all the new paranormal characters introduced and how the story evolved. I'm desperate to get to book 3 now!! I need sleep but I also need answers

Boring, confusing, badly edited, everyone was out of character.

I enjoyed this one more than the first book in the series, and cannot wait to read the next one. there are a few spelling mistakes that bugged me, but it didn’t ruin the storyline.

What an intense second installment to the House of Furies trilogy. And much like a middle child, it's dark, brooding, and demands attention with plenty of shocking moments. Madeleine Roux has done a stellar job of subtly expanding this universe beyond Coldthistle House, while still anchoring the story in something familiar. She is able to introduce fascinating (and oftentimes terrifying) lore from multiple religions without it being too overwhelming. I'm eager to start book 3 and see just how deep this world dives.

Wasn't too keen on the pace of this, but the ending made it all worth it! This is seriously one of the weirdest series I've ever read.

3.5 stars. An alright series but not sure if I want to listen to the last one. I'm not to curious about it
